Senior Associate

Muriel Collison has been a senior associate at Collison & O'Connor, Ltd., since the firm started. She received her undergraduate degree from the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. For the past four years she has focused on civil trial work and worker's compensation. In 2004, she was appointed as a special prosecutor for Kane County, handling all of the county's worker's compensation defense, a position she currently holds. she has been a practicing licensed attorney in Illinois since 2004. Additionally, Muriel is licensed in the United States District Court in the Northern District of Illinois and several federal jurisdictions.

Additional credentials and distinctions include: memberships in the Lake County Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, Worker's Compensation Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Muriel is very involved in her community. She is an acitve member of
the Northbrook Rotary Club serving on their Board of Directors.  Additionally, Muriel spends much of her free time participating in service projects for the orphans of Kazakhstan.
